Tangy Sloppy Joes



    • 1 tablespoon safflower oil
    • 1 cup diced onion
    • 1 tablespoon tomato glue
    • 1 can (14.5 ounces) entire stripped tomatoes, pureed
    • 2 tablespoons dim earthy colored sugar
    • 2 tablespoons apple-juice vinegar
    • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    • 2 cups destroyed Wine-Braised Brisket
    • Toasted buns, for serving
    • Meagerly cut red onion, for serving
    • New cilantro leaves, for serving


    Stage 1
    In a skillet, heat oil done on the two sides. Add onion and cook until mellowed, 3 to 4 minutes. Add tomato stick; blend 1 second. Add pureed tomatoes, sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and 1 cup water. Stew 10 minutes. Add brisket; toss to warm through. Serve on toasted buns, with cut red onion and cilantro.
